NYer here. Schmuck and Shrillary are my senators, and my new congressman is a washed-up communist hippie.
Typical elitist.
Nauseating pics. A prelude of a Civil War that our lousy government is playing with!
thanks
Sessions: "Let's just stop this now."
(Sorry for hollering...forgive me.)
Yep, worthy of Tony Soprano.
Here’s my deal - I’ll cross the state line to help SC’s with Lindsey if the SC’s come to NC to help us with our Burr problem in 2010. We are already searching for a primary opponent.
Deal?
YOHOOOOOO Just said we have melted down the Senate phone lines. Lets KEEP calling Freeps!
I think La Raza cut the wires...
VITTER VICTORY!!! VITTER YOU HAVE A LONG CAREER AHEAD OF YOU!!!
Jeff Sessions now speaking — a voice of sanity and now my mute is off. Border Patrol says it will not work.
This bill will further diminish the Rule of Law. To give us only 10 minutes to the opposition and the supporters get 50 minutes. Telephone systems are shut downs because of massive phone calls. Let’s go back to the drawing board and come up with a bill that works.
Sen Vitter — This vote is about whether you believe in the common sense of the American people. The people know promising enforcement after 30 years of non-enforcement won’t work. This bill will only decrease illegal immigration by 13%. Do we listen to the people with common sense or is this body out of touch and arrogant (paraphrashing).
Heh. I think Hillary’s got his little black book.
Just got off the phone with a staff member at Norm Coleman’s office in St Paul.
They say that the Senator remains undecided as to whether he’ll vote for cloture or not.
I find that worrisome. But then again, this is vintage Norm.
Wheeling and dealing right ‘til the end...waiting for a better deal to appear that will tip him to one side or the other.
She voted no the first time. I’ve tried calling and calling and calling her office—permanent hold.
Tom Allen, the pro-amensty candidate, has a nice ring to it.
Common sense is a rare thing to hear coming out of the mouth of a senator.
At last a Senator who says the American people “get it”. And says this vote is about Senatorial arrogance. Wow!
Vitter: The American people get it....they know that the amnesty in this bill will cause the problem to grow...the know the trigger is a joke....they know that groups like the Congressional Budget Office, so big on enforcement, will only increase illegal immigration......they know that, they have wisdom and common sense...the question is do we? ...is this body out of touch?...is this body arrogant?
