Here we are again my friends, hopefully for the last debate thread on this particular monstrous legislation. Proceedings are supposed to begin at 9:30 a.m. EST, with the cloture vote being taken at 10:30 a.m.
On a personal note, you've all been wonderful in your passion, vigilance, and commitment to the principles on which our country was founded. If I have to be in a foxhole, I want to be in it with you guys.

I've noticed, on a number of occasions, Bush's attempts to make a statement about "our country" and it came out "our company." I also heard him refer to the immigration bill as "the product."
I guess it could have been worse...he could have said "our corporation."

A guy named Antonio Migliaccio taught me how to make veal marsala.......it isn’t really that hard to do......but like anything else......if you don’t learn from the master, it ain’t worth trying : )
Everything you mentioned are my absolute favorites....and I’ve had veal marsala when it was not the best....and then the times it was absolutely perfect....truly I am *so* envious of your planned meal.....ENJOY!!

the existence of illegals everywhere didn't happen overnight. it was a long process. that long process of anarchy is a nation slowly dying. it continues to die as long as we don't secure the border and don't find out who's already here illegally.
the bill would have been a national suicide attempt - when that was avoided, that is cause to celebrate a major battle in a larger war.
