"It’s really not all that difficult for anyone interested in connecting the dots."

Aye, there's the rub, isn't it?

Seems nobody is actually interested in "connecting the dots".

Even when all the effort is being done for them.

"..and started a war for which he had no plan for victory."

Not a "victory" in the sense that you or I would envision it. There will be no definitive end to the WOT.

I AGREE! I am getting awfully tired of all of this Bush bashing. I guess that the fools would prefer the other guy!

No. What we "fools" would like is a president that upheld his oath to the Constitution. What we "fools' would like is a president who upheld the laws of the land and kept illegals out and ran the ones here out. What we "fools" want, what we thought we were voting for when he assured us he was, is president who is a conservative, who up held conservative values, not another RINO, which is what we have. What we "fools" wanted was a conservative president who tells the liberals, marxists, socialists, stalinists dimocrats to stick it, that we are not going to ruin America with their marxists ways. But, we "fools" did not get that. What we got was a guy who has failed in his oath of office and failed to up hold the law of the land. What we got was not George W. Bush, conservative. What we got was Jorge Wubya Bushwiski, a RINO socialist who spends money like a drunk in a bar. Sure, he has fought the war on terror. But, that issue alone he cannot be judged a successful president on. He has to be judged on his entire leadership. And, in that, he has failed. That is according to we "fools" as you term us.

It's not as bad as you think - the elites are different - they're jerks. Once you get past their narcissistic sense of entitlement, they're still not like us... ( take off on the rich are just like us, only they have more money)

Oh I don’t know...they loved him as long as he was passing out the fish and the bread, but when he was arrested and taken away where were they??
Fare weathered friends indeed.

You're right

Of course I'm right. Every discussion I've ever had with you I'm right and your wrong.

Did you happen to notice your position here is *again* in the extreme minority?

You seem very much in denial in regards to the state of affairs caused by this government.

Nearly every single person I speak with daily is totally disgusted with this President, this Congress, the GOP, and most everyone else that holds positions in this ever growing, elitist government.

You seem very much detached from reality and angry that your favorite politician has turned out to be deceitful fraud. You can imagine how the rest of us feel.

Even if Bush's country killing amnesty fails, most of those in D.C. have been exposed but good.

O.K. I'm going to say this one more time. It's really very simple.

Bush does not enforce the borders because he does not want the borders enforced. He does not want the borders enforced because he does not believe that there should be borders, at least not between America and Mexico or Canada. He does not believe that America should have borders because he does not believe that America should exist as an independent soveriegn country. He does not believe that America should exist as an independent sovereign country because he believes in the New World Order/one world government/globalism .

Now what part of that explanation seems unclear or untrue to you?

Listen, your condescention is unnecessary besides being way off base. You don't have a line on believing Bush is pushing the NAU. I have stated this in post # 98 of this thread and many other threads. I've already responded to you about my post, and I'm not going to spend any more time parsing it.

Thank you for bumping my post. All modesty aside, that was really a well-written, well-reasoned explanation for why Bush does not enforce the borders, wasn't it?

But I am still interested in your opinion. Did any part of that explanation seem unclear or untrue to you? I would really value your feedback.

BTW, my vocabulary is obviously not as broad as yours. What is "condescention"?

I'm not sure what impresses me more: your gentle humility, or your subtle appreciation of irony.

"condescention"?

Maybe I got it mixed up with condensation? Did I spell it wrong? Or maybe it's not even a word? Oh well. And yes, your post was very well written, and a good explanation. :)

I've just realized where I've heard this tone before - a hospital waiting room.

You're the guy who used to write "Closing Thoughts" for the Jerry Springer Show, right?

I have to concede that your unintentional comedy is far more amusing than my scripted jokes.

Border bots annihilated the Congess in 2006 to teach them a lesson.

Do you have any data to support that at all? Are you really saying that conservatives voted for democrats? Please back that statement up, if you can.

Well, if you watched CSPAN this morning, you know that the clouture motion was defeated, and Harry Reid said he will pull the bill and give up for now. We don’t have enough senators with balls to pass anything important, and as long as the money comes in from the lobbyists to keep getting re-elected, they don’t give a damn about what is going on in this country, because they don’t live in the same America as the rest of us. It has been said before, and it bears repeating: vote the devils out. Post their voting record for everyone to see. They got plenty of Hell on this one and the phone lines to congress were jammed this morning. Noone would back off from their stand. You really don’t need a 700 page document to pile on top of laws that are already not enforced. And this was supposed to be a ‘reform’ bill. What crap! Oh, did any of you hear the pitiful pleas of Robert Byrd? They gave him twenty minutes after the vote, and I don’t think he used them all, just dropped dead in the middle of it. Lots of folks got their wish!
