India builds a 2,050 mile fence for $1.2B, but here in the U.S. a 700 mile fence costs $2.2B (and that’s the low estimate!).

The Beltway political class must do what’s right for America instead of pandering to the Mexican govt. I am sure that the Mexicans will feel “insulted,” but if pols in DC show any spine, they’ll give up too and get used to reality.
There is one significant difference between the two cases though. In the US, we have a president who is more interested in “rights” for criminals than he is interested in enforcing the law.

I think we need to hire these folks to supervise construction of our much needed fence. They knew where to locate the will to build a fence, something our professionals cannot do.
There are about 92 Bangladeshi enclaves (pieces of Bangladesh territory completely surrounded by Indian territory) on the Indian side of the line and about 106 Indian enclaves on the Bangladeshi side of the border.
