Following up on this mornings post, Ive started a new thread for the second round of Senate floor debate on shamnesty. Its 2:31pm Eastern and the Senate is waiting for a member to come to the floor to speak. Rich Miniter has a memo outlining the clay pigeon strategy. Like I said, well see if it flies today. Meantime, where do we go from here? Bryan Preston says fight. Ok, then. Are you in the mood to make calls and hold ship-jumping, pro-amnesty Senators to account? Good. Heres a list of targets thats circulating on the Hill:
Brownback (split with Roberts) Bond (Split with McCaskill) Burr (split with Dole) Coleman Ensign Gregg (split with Sununu) McConnell (split with Bunning) Webb

Which ones are the most vulnerable??
I would appreciate it if when naming any representative or Senator, regardless of state, they be awarded an honorific or an appelation of shame, such as:
The Honorable Senator John Cornyn of Texas. Or the Honorable Representative Tom Feeney of Florida.
And for the obverse: the Despicable Bob Bennett of Utah, or the Excremental Arlen Specter of Penna., or the Treacherous Jeff flake of Arizona, or the Untrustworthy Olympia Snowe of Maine.
It is my assumption that after continual usage, these appellations will eventually find their way into common use and be adapted by the media or at least into ordinary useage by the public.
What this will do is insure that these betrayers of trust will find a place in history, but not a comfortable place by the fire.
Why not? Rules is rules.
Hi Michelle, I just got off the phone with NRSC, where it took ~10 minutes for someone to answer my call. I told the woman who answered that she should add 4 former donors to her list in OK and CO among my family members, and alert Ensign that his cloture vote today (as NRSC chairman) sealed the deal. She sounded exhausted, and told me that their director is compiling a spreadsheet of all callers by state and the number of donors theyve lost today. Sounds like its a large number, and if there are any current NRSC donors out there who cant stomach it after today, Im sure the NRSC workers would like to hear from them. It appears that the NRSC rank and file are against Shamnesty, toobe nice, because they hate this as much as we do! Somebody ought to tell this lady that Allard isn’t running for re-election. That said, Dan Schaefer would make a great Senator if he can beat that socialist tree hugging, open borders, gay marrige supporting Mark Udall.
Just say NO to Illegal Alien Amnesty!! Keep calling!! Its NOT OVER!!
