I wouldn’t worry much about this...the freedom of speech trumps this hand of cards...without much effort. If this is the best that Feinstein can do...then there isn’t much to worry about.

They made the “fairness doctrine” unfair by only having it apply to what’s considered “opinion” shows.
They claim the liberally biased NPR is a “news” show, not covered by the Fairness Doctrine. Same with all the drive by media. Clever, isn’t it.

If they try to limit speech of political opponents, the political process and the constitution are dead. The only solution would be another civil war.
You don’t understand the problem. The right would have no voice. The government would appoint people who would decide what is politically slanted speech. Speech from the left would not be considered from the left by the government monitors. It would be considered fact. Since it would be fact, there would be no other side to present.
Does anyone know where a copy of this “bill” is? I’d like to see it and use it as a hammer on my local congresscritters.
