Advocates of an immigration overhaul would have to "deal" with talk-radio hosts who he said don't know what is in the legislation but want to kill it nonetheless.

That gave me concern but when I heard him say we were not going to intimidate a United States Senator, it really made me mad! He's got to go.

Perhaps the State legislatures of several States could prevent some >cough...spit< esteemed Senators from returning to DC from their 4th of July vacation so they couldn't vote.
I wonder if the would be "intimidated" by that.

It seems to me that any State with the power of recall for nonfeasance (intentionally and repeatedly not performing required duties of the office) would be able to retain and/or restrain a Senator.
