As I wrote on another thread, the suspicion in the medical profession is that it is the hormones causing the problems. My sister is up-to-date on this, as one of her grandchildren has PDDNOS--pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified, and was conceived in vitro, with hormone therapy tried first.
The incidence of this disorder among boys has increased, to something like 1 in 90. PDDNOS in Google brings uf 81,000 results.
