Just imagine if coverage on our military efforts in the Middle East were more balanced because it consisted primarily of stories like this one. I bow my head in thanks to God for the men and women fighting there for freedom from Islamofascist tyranny.

Free Republic used to be a good portal like Drudge with the added benefit of posting and reading commentary. It still performs that portal function somewhat although I find over the last few years it has slipped in that regard. If something of interest is posted at You-Tube or elsewhere I think it's great to post that link here so we can all post commentary.
That is the purpose of Free Republic from my view point.

Open a second window with the youtube video, and go back to FR while it loads in the other window. It may take 20 minutes to load, but you'll still be reading FR while it "does so". Then watch at leisure. What a great idea...'think I'll do that right now! :)
Remember when Drudge wouldn’t link FR? Maybe he doesn’t now. Not that I care since I don’t scan Drudge. The news that counts is on NYMEX.com. LOL
Already do that with a couple things. I check in about four times in the day, but am out and about the rest of the time. Utube is not on my list of necessary things. But, it might be an important window on the world for others. That’s the way it goes.

Please know that many of us are thrilled to learn of these positive events/videos/news that wouldn’t otherwise be known because the MSM purposely keeps good news from the world.

I have to say my opinion. Otherwise nobody might mention that FR is Evolving, becoming Progressive. For a Conservative site this could be ominous.
