I have to agree that something will pull the U.S. out of their defense mode of Israel... There have been many in our gov’t who would love to see that happen in recent years. Bush had promised (before his first election) that he would declare Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. That got dropped like a hot rock.....and has never been mentioned again.
There will probably be a general worldwide withdrawal. Taiwan will be sacrificed to China. Israel sacrifed to the Arabs. North Korea will invade South Korea and all the U.S. will do is refer it to the U.N. That sort of thing.

We have stopped supporting Israel but supporting a two state solution. Israel followed our lead and got ‘peace makers’ instead of warriors. We see how well that is working out now don’t we? Israelis are waking up to the fact they are already standing on their own and wanting the ‘warriors’ back. Push comes to shove, Israel would use it’s Sampson Option and vaporize every enemy within 2,000 miles. They may still want out dollars and equipment but Israeli opinion is changing and I think for the wiser. They had best build further national civil and military defenese and elect the hawks. Even if we will want to support Israel, we have our own major troubles brewing such as revolution, nuclear terrorism, self-loating, apathetic morals etc. etc. etc.
