Although this occurred 4 years before I was born, this was the very finest event with respect to blue-collar labor defending OUR country against the hate-America Communist hordes. John Vliet Lindsey, a pansy-ass leftist RINO-turned-rodent twat, and sympathetic to the anti-American farces (many of HIS people were part of the protest crowd), was one of the single worst Mayors in this nation’s history. His “leadership” saw nearly 1 million New Yorkers flee, including my family, on his watch.
Hoisting the flag to full staff in direct defiance of his order to pay homage to brainwashed anti-American yoots in Ohio was the piece de resistance. It’s too bad we couldn’t have had a mass-uprising organized by labor in every community in America to clean out the trash, and laid the hippies dream of Marxist revolution to dust.
Wasn't it?
I was eight at the time, and only remember it from seeing re-runs in the '70s. It seems like the only time "the silent majority" stood up to the Leftists.
