Here’s hoping that iran doesnt have nukes. Even a badly aimed nuke over the gulf would put us in a bad place. Its not a big pond for a lot of carriers to work in.

They better make their first shot count because I guarantee they will not get a second.

There is no way the US will put 3 carriers battle groups in the Gulf.

Any additions will be in the Red Sea, Arabian Sea and/or Indian Ocean. We'll cover our backsides...just incase somebody with the ability to put a ship to sea gets any funny ideas.

Besides, it's important to DEMONSTRATE that we can project power anywhere in the world with impunity...not just that we were not opposed, but that we could not be opposed.
