Amendment IV

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Amendment VIII

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

You along with many others on this thread seem to have forgotten this frequently overlooked little bit of historical trivia

Excessive fine? For forcing everyone on the freeways into being unwilling participants in their dangerous toying with others lives?

They’ve no one to blame but themselves.
