Illegal street racing is responsible for or suspected in 13 deaths in Southern California since March.

I guess you didn't read this part. It says illegal and as far as I am concerned if they are convicted they lost all rights to the ride. If one of your loved ones dies because some kid has total disregard for the safety of others I think you would be singing a different tune.

And, if someone decides you have an ILLEGAL shed on your property, will you agree to your home being destroyed?

Why stop at ILLEGAL Street Racing, which has pretty much always been ILLEGAL, why not speeders, DUI’s, red light and stop sign runners. Why not call for their cars being crushed as well?

“It says illegal and as far as I am concerned if they are convicted they lost all rights to the ride.”

Nobody says the individuals should not be punished - put them in jail, fine them, whatever. It is the seizure and destruction of private property that is the problem - and it’s a constitutional problem when government is allowed to seize and destroy property.

Every citizen very likely breaks some law somehow every day. Maybe the government wants something that you have.

Don’t park your Yugo on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, then.
