I saw that bad boy while walking DCS early this morning. By the time I went back to get the camera, Eaker & his gun, I was only able to get these three pic’s.
I called the game warden but got no answer, so I called the sheriff’s office. I was told (1) the game warden would not come out unless the thing was in the “yard”, and (2) it is illegal to shoot them.

There is a season, think it was discussed way upthread, but it's only been for a short time. You can only shoot them out of season when they threaten people or livestock.
Ya'll should have seen them last summer when it was raining, they were constantly getting run over on the highway.

I was told (1) the game warden would not come out unless the thing was in the yard, and (2) it is illegal to shoot them. That pretty well sums up the mindset that causes my "attitude" against government. "We won't do anything, but you can't either". Illegal immigration is the first example that comes to mind.
