JEEZ, people! It doesn't cheapen Princeton as a university, or the value of their diplomas. It's honorary... it's a nice way to honor a dying man. He won't exactly be using it to compete in the workplace. Try to gain some perspective in life.

He was reviled for his skin color and his choice of faith when he was an athlete, and yet he perservered. He was a global icon LONG before the Left made criticizing those groups a social sin.

As for his disease, that makes him a sympathetic figure, and usually above such petty taunts... but not in every case, I guess.
