This sounds like the Nifong fiasco. The MSM is out of control and caught in their lies and distortions and, obvious, bias. IMO, they are self-destructing.

Did you know that the “budding journalism student” responsible for the video at the root of the investigation was known to be part of the anti-government, anti-American Sunni insurgent sympathizers inhabiting Haditha a year prior to November 19, 2005?

Now I've forgotten his name, but he still works for Time and he still represents the enemy. He is an Arab Muslim. I say this because something of his was just posted here a day or two ago, and I googled him back to his false testimony on Haditha, in a story where he was interviewed by the BBC.

I think it’s time that someone did a close investigation of the NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) which evidently handled this process.

Who was involved? What were their actions? What roles did they play? Who appointed them? How many of them received rapid promotions during the clinton years?

I know nothing about the NCIS, but I suspect that it was corrupted in earlier years (like the clintonoid lawyers in the FBI who are still in place) and that, as usual, Bush did nothing to clean it out.

This may be a false trail, but I am suspicious at their readiness to jump on the leftist media bandwagon and persecute these marines.

The marines are innocent(period).
Taking marines to trial for actions that they were trained to perform is just wrong.
If this is a law enforcement action in Iraq then send cops.
If this is a military action then send in fighting men and let them kill and destroy like they are trained to do.
And certainly don’t honor charges by members of the enemy.

Especially when such an enemy trained to set up such a scenario. We know that from documents captured a long time before this incident.

This is the story that the MSM and the left have been wishing for since Vietnam. That's all we need to know as to why these Marines are getting railroaded. My only hope is that brains and guts will prevail. The Marines should be judged on the evidence ( which isn't there ) and not feelings like they are now.
