==================
Please pardon me for jumping in here, but that is not at all what the bible says or teaches. The key phrase of the passage you refer to says "In My Name", which is the same as saying "for ME" or "in MY Will" or "for My purpose".
Praying for what Jesus wants is usually not a million dollars or a new caddy.

You are wrong. I don’t know which passage you are referring to, but there are several in the Bible that have Jesus making these broad promises, and not one of them is qualified by “for me,” “in my will,” “for my purpose,” or anything like that. Read the Gospels, and you will see that, in several places therein, Jesus is quoted as saying, essentially, you can ask for ANYTHING, and it will be yours for the asking — as long as you have faith in Jesus. Now, seriously, don’t you think that is ludicrous? Jesus said, if you want to pitch a mountain into the sea, go ahead. You can do, if you just believe you can, and you believe in him. This is just another of several reasons rational people understand this is all a bunch of nonsense.
