Thanks for your reply...I did find a picture of some soldiers standing over a much larger pterodactyle as you pointed out, however, the notation under the picture is that this was a picture of a group of confederate soldiers, standing over the pterodactyle, which is as you have previously stated, is much larger...supposedly shot down in 1860...I will include a link to that picture, maybe that will jar someone elses memory as well...I thank you for you help in trying to locate this WW 11 picture...

Here is a link to a website...you have to scroll down to see the picture there, is it towards the bottom of the page...thanks...maybe eventually we will find this WW 11 picture...Here is the link...

Yeah I think that was the picture- I saw it on another site htough and they cuationed that it could have been hoaxed, anyhting is possible with todays modern technology- even making pictures look old- that’s not to say this is the case for that picture, but we should be aware it could be faked. I like the idea that therem ight be some wierd creatures still walking around too- but am very skeptical- but don’t rulke it out- The ThunderBirds is a neat possibility- would be awesome to see one captured on film- there has been some very interesting moving video taken of some large birds- but the resolution wasn’t clear enough to identify the birds- but was intriguing to say the least.
