Jorge - money is God, then? Where draw the line? “Acting” in porn movies? Promoting one’s daughter’s porn career? (There were articles about that a while ago on FR.) Selling porn? Making it? Selling body parts from aborted babies? Etc?

Capitalism without any moral guidelines about what is a moral or decent or acceptable way to make money, and what is not, is Crapitalism.

Tourism is a business.

Businesses exist to make money.

Does this surprise you?

I'm sure you're familiar with a city called Vegas, AKA "Sin City". ?

Just as Buddhism and Jainism were reactions to/attempts to improve on Hinduism and its ethical system, Judaism historically was an "improvement" on paganism and the values of the marketplace or forum. The Jewish prophets brought the people moral and spiritual demands on their behavior as more pleasing to God.

This is just the old paganism of the forum, where everything is reduced to a single value -- transactionability in silver -- reasserting itself against Judeo-Christian morality.
