To my knowledge, Haley Barbour does not support amnesty for illegals, though I don't know that he's taken a stand on the current bill or not. It doesn't matter anyway; Haley has expressed no interest in running for the Senate, and is currently running for another four years as governor. He is, by the way, the best d*** governor we've had in my adult life, bar none.

The man Mississippi needs in Trent's Senate seat is Chip Pickering, currently the 3rd District Representative, though Roger Wicker (R-1st) would do a good job as well. Chip hasn't forgotten the shameful treatment his father (Judge Charles Pickering) received from the Senate Democrats when he was up for a post on the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and won't lay down for Kennedy, Leahy, and company.
