Lott is “talking” about A—hole Mike Savage. Savage claims he is an American Loving Conservative. After his campaign in the 2006 election, he got the American hating Democrats in power. Is he so dumb not to see this?
Oops!! I guess I put bad words in Lott’s mouth....garbage, sh-t, what’s the difference?
But thanks for the history lesson. It’s a shame that one of those esteemed house managers is now on the dark side, and doesn’t even have the courage to appear on Laura Ingraham’s radio show, when he was a frequent guest at the time on her TV show and I believe was even dating her (Graham)
The good people of Mississippi can replace him with Haley Barbour.
How do they compare to the American hating Republicans who are now betraying their Country?
BS. Talk radio existed before Limbaugh stumbled into it.
I think someone with skill in writting should make a list of the Trojans hiding GOP Closet!
We need to purge them out of our party!
What will be the impact on our property taxes, state and local taxes which will have to be increased to deal with the increased populations due to the extended families they will be bringing in? What impact will they have on our overcrowded prisons and jails...6-7% of any population ends up in prison or jail. What is the impact on our already overburdened hospitals like the Regional Medical in Memphis?
We will need new schools to teach their kids, and more teachers, more cops, more prison guards........ NO one has said a word about these things.
Have the folks in DC considered all this?
The Problem is President Bush. He needs to be constitutionally replaced by Cheney. Bush has placed Mexico over America. He has handcuffed our troops in combat and is afraid of Iran.
Otherwise, we need to form a 3rd party with willing Republican Senators that will filibuster everything until the people’s will is followed.
re; 32
>i>McCain threatens that there will be riots if we enforce the law....</i.
Where’s Bull Connor when we need him?
Next time he gets his butt in a crack with the National Media, let him feel the pinch; don’t come to his aid.
I think a lot of ingrained Pubbies in the Senate are going to have primary opponents in ‘08.
That was a mistake. Lott was either a bigot, or too stupid to realize that his comments could be construed as such.
Neither is a defense of the guy holding a leadership position in the Senate. The fact that the GOP, after getting their arses spanked in the 2006 elections, made Lott Minority Whip shows the party is as clueless as Lott is.
Poor little thing. What grade of school are you in?
Talk radio didn't exist twenty years ago. LOL
We got rid of Tom Daschle and we can sure as hell get rid of this dumba$$.
Yes, it did. It was amateurish, insignificant, and dull. The few "national" talk shows were mostly about how to get out of legal jams and protect your money and such.
There is no question that Rush defined the genre when he gained the ascendency.
“BS. Talk radio existed before Limbaugh stumbled into it.”
True. And motion pictures existed before “The Birth of a Nation.” It’s inarguable, though, that Rush’s program is responsible for talk radio taking off, and his is far and away the most popular - and deservedly popular - show out there.
I'm not so sure Barbour wouldn't be pro-Amnesty too. I think he's another one who would put Illegal legalization ahead of the Law, Consitutionality and what's best for America. Better nail him down first on exactly where he stands before supporting him. He may be as bad as Lott.
That was a great monologue, especially the point about activism. Thanks for posting this!
Not that Lott stepping down from Majority / Minority Leader did the GOP much good, because we haven't gotten anyone better to replace him.... All those Senators on both sides of the aisle care more about their 'Fraternity Brothers' than they do about their duties to the Nation or the people that they are supposed to represent.
“Talk radio didn’t exist 20 years ago!”
Sorry, you’re wrong on this one. I listened to Alan Berg on 850 KOA out of Denver, Colorado...in 1979.
Talk radio existed before Rush’s debut...Rush just changed it’s dynamic.
This affair is between the Beltway and Americans.
Leads one to wonder how US vs THEN could have become ordinary Americans vs their government.
