I’ll try and combine answers to both your posts to me. Stripping is legal, so if you don’t like it perhaps you should spearhead an effort to outlaw the practice.
The public school system is a load of garbage, that we can agree on. It however does not have anything to do with the topic. Do you want men who are tame, or do you want men to be men? The men being discussed on this thread are/were college students, not husbands and fathers. It’s better for them to get it out of their system before they get married and have children. I have a 19 yr old son. As long as he doesn’t touch the actress with a ten foot pole, I wouldn’t care if he saw a stripper perform.
Well I totally disagree with how you’d handle your son. I’ve told you what I would do.
Beyond that....I understand about college students. Fathers and husbands do feel different about this.
I will always condemn it and on some level, perhaps it will stop some. Perhaps just some but I think we are a better society if we discourage the objectification of women.

You may disagree. You may NOT change my opinion on the matter. You may NOT change the fact that I have a bit of disdain with how cavalierly you treat the matter, especially being a female. You MAY think I am a prude and unrealistic.

One more thing and then I am totally finished with saying the same thing over and over.
In another post on this thread I made a big damn deal about how I hated to have LAWS passed to handle the matter. So why on earth are you suggesting that I should spearhead some sort of thing to outlaw stripping? I'd no more get involved in such a thing as I would being a stripper myself.
Sometimes it's only our disapproval that tends to stem such practices that really aren't for the betterment of society. I'll never give up this disapproval.
And as for "being a man" by watching strippers...heh. This is the old right-wing "the feminazis are taking away our manhood" argument. Sure a male likes to watch a naked female and NO I don't ever want to see that stop. But how about he watches his lady love strip or gazes longingly at her nude body? Does it have to be this sleazy thing with a complete stranger and a room full of hooting males? Your argument that going to strip shows somehow makes a young male a "man" is a really tiny argument.
I'm really done talking about this now. I will not respond to any further posts as I think I've done said everything. I accept readily that you disagree with me, that you think I'm an idiot, that you threw in a really small jab at my Blog for no discernible reason and that you would never enjoy being in my company.
