Every year DNA Evidence exhonorates someone who has been in prison for 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, or 20 years (or more) who has said all along, "I'm Innocent."

In most cases there is a District Attourney who has adamently opposed all efforts to introduce any and all new evidence. In almost every case they sound "Righteously Indignant", just like Mike Nifong, and insist, against all evidence to the contrary, that the imprisoned man (or occasionally a woman) was (and still is) guilty as charged and convicted.

It was only through a leak that the was evidence exhonerating these young men was revealed and Mike Nifong's blind ambition and greed was exposed. HE NEEDS TO GO TO PRISON (and yes, I know I just "yelled") but what he did was certainly "criminal" in intent if not in actual case law. He needs to go to prison!

Yes, that is true and you want to know why? The majority of people are convicted, pre-DNA, by eye-witness testimony. Blame the prosecutor all you want, however, in the end it’s the jury who finds the party guilty that really is wrong....
