Muslims love to tell us that they revere Jesus too. There is an eternal difference between revere and worship.
They see Jesus as a prophet. But Muhammed is a later prophet who has to correct what was wrong with religion that came before. They believe that Jesus was good enough that he would never have died on the cross, so therefore someone else had to have died there, not Jesus.
