They cooked and dined on the street. Everything was done outdoors. They had little cook carts like hot dog vendors and sold shish-ke-bobs and stuffed pita sandwiches to busy mummifiers on the go.

Speaking of kitchens, I discovered my ex-wife was a great cook by accident. Everytime I came home early, there were a bunch of truckers sitting around the kitchen.
