In other words, no matter what progress ICE makes, y’all won’t be satisfied. That’s why I usually avoid these threads...chronic complainers that ignore facts and base their assumptions on what-if theories. Must be a sad way to live life.

Sorry, but it’s a fact that deportees frequently come right back over the border. They know that getting caught is just a stroke of bad luck, and the next time they might get to stay a while.

Without the fence, and serious border enforcement, deporting illegals is about as effective as shoveling water.

I would be happy if enforcement at all levels (local, county, state and federal) had anywhere close to the recent success of ICE - it would mean fewer illegal immigrants.

Unfortunately, there is only limited enforcement at all.

Here’s some more “what ifs” for your file. What if you had to bear the burden of the problems created by illegal aliens? What if it was your home instead of mine that had Mexican gang graffiti painted on it, declaring your home the territory of foreign enemies? What if it was your wages instead of mine that dropped steadily until you were at risk of losing your gang-controlled home to the tax office?

Would you still be pushing for special privileges for the criminals who did this to you? Or do you deserve to be treated better than the rest of us?
