Now I have another bone to pick. I live in California. I have pets (three dogs). Why in the hell should I have to neuter my dogs ( all males). I mean honestly I dont get it. They are mine not the states. They stay indoors or in my backyard and never interact with any other dogs. This is an outrage. Pretty soon it will be us who are neutered or spayed because they are saying that the population is to high California.
When will it end. First gun laws, now this. Welcome to the Socialist State of California where the state decides what is best for you.
There is no other solution they offer but neutering ALL pets or paying a fine? Seems as though the people in CA have not given much thought to this problem.
And it also seems unconstitutional.
Do “animal rights” include the right to reproduce? If animals to not possess this right, then in what sense do they have any moral agency at all? And thus, in what sense could they have “rights”?
America is arguable socialist.
IMO they should neuter all California Liberals.
What is the saying of PETA? “A dog is a cat is a child”.
When puppies are outlawed, only outlaws will have puppies.
Constitutional?
The Declaration of Independence was written to define a free people, to tell them where they got their rights and what freedom can do for your lives.
The Constitution was written to tell these free people how to manage their government. The Constitution is a limitation on government, not the people.
I’m guessing pets are mentioned. There are however lots of limitations on government to limit its role in this issue however, if people elect others to office that have not read the Constitution - you’re on your own.
Even their marriage was arranged by communists. The old USSR matched these two rabble-rousers up from the start. They encouraged their agents to get into politics somehow with the White House being the final goal.
Since neither Clinton is very smart (graduating from law school anywhere is not a measure of intelligence) so they decided that since Bill was an Arkansan by birth and since the electorate has voted Democrat because they are fond of mules, that they'd settle on Arkansas politics.

Well as soon as all those other donkey lovers were exposed to his 'magnetism' he was placed on the fast track. Now his wife is expecting to receive what she believes is her due.
My idea for Hillary would be something entirely different.
So... they can’t send the animals to another state, or maybe another country? Why require owners to fix their pets so they can’t reproduce? All it’s going to do is kill off the dog and cat population in the entire state.
Enough Socialism, kick out Arnold in the next election and put a good governor in.

Forced sterilization of pets today. A RETURN to forced sterilization of criminals, mentally ill, and poor people tomorrow (yes this was law in the 20th century)?

I agree with that. We've certainly put a lot of dyed in the wool socialists in power. Furthermore Hillary has of late come out of the closet as a pure Marxist.
California’s no further along the path to socialism than many other states, especially Vermont, Massachusetts, Oregon, Washington and much of the Northeast.

The AKC has developed a system that is more or less destroying dog breeds over time. Other organizations are questioning the need for the AKC’s relentless emphasis on bloodline versus performance. Some of these organizations are repairing and recreating breeds by introducing bloodlines that are similar in performance and confirmation to the original breed but which have fewer problems. This out-crossing also maintains hybrid vigor.
Limiting intact dogs to purebred breeders would crush this effort. It would also put the price of a puppy out of the reach of a lot of families. What idiots.
