I read-quote-"Every year our two borders experience 500 million border crossings."unquote

Could someone please explain to me how the hell that number of people can be tracked going back and forth?

These are people who hold green cards and who are going back and forth across the border every day, people who live in Mexico and work in California, Arizone, New Mexico and Texas, and also live in Canada and work in U.S. In El Paso, there are thousands of people, probably hundreds of thousands, who have something called a border crossing card. This isn’t 500 million DIFFERENT people, it is 500 million border crossings. It is relatively easy to count heads going back and forth across the bridge.

Know our government, they count the number of legs then divide by two and then add five percent. That explains all the slack jaw folks at customs.

We track a lot more stock sales than that daily. We track billions in monetary transactions. We can track 500 million border transfers. That’s a little under 1.8 million a day.

There are companies with 100,000 employees who badge them in and out every single day of the year, and like to know where every employee is during the day in case there is an emergency. It can be done, you just have to have an ID that you can use to help track people, and a computer system set up to say whether you are IN or OUT.

Unfortunately, our country refuses to implement the “OUT” part of the computer program.
