That is absurd.

When they “go emergency” there is no talk radio, just emergency information all the time.

This commisioner is NON-partisan in election.

The majority of radio listeners listen to Rush.

Also you are only getting 1/2 the story, don’t they also have a companion FM station too? It should broadcast the identical information and content. Listeners have a choice even in disaster.

This is just attack Rush BS.

Does anyone know the power output of that station?

Seems they should be going for the most output rather than sacrificing lives with lower power.

I agree with you, and because that station has the highest watts it should carry the signal. If the programming is dropped completely then the advertising is dropped completely too, that means the station isn’t generating revenue while it is broadcasting emergency news and these officials are completely wrong. If it is spot news that interrupts the normal signal for a few minutes each hour then I think if the shoe was on the other foot we would be b*tching about it too.
