Bush is acting like he’s never going to have to run for office again and he’s not. Seems he also thinks that congress won’t have to either.
Failure to first secure the border post 9/11 much less not at all, even so much as encourage illegals here leads to only one possible and logical answer as to why. The intergration of North America and an erosion of our sovereinty.
Following the ‘04 elections I was sent a signed picture of Bush and Cheney thanking me for my support. I sent it back to the WH in an envelope, AFTER I ran it through my shredder.
I reregistered last month as a Democrat. For 2 reasons:
1- It would be more likely to get the attention of the RNC
2- I can vote for “anyone but Hillary” in the Florida primary.
I can change back to Rep at any time, should our elected Republicans start demonstrating some conviction about what’s right for our country.
I think Bush had this planned all along. When he was running for re election in 2004 he told his campaign people that illegal immigration was, “off the table.”
I think he left the borders open until the numbers were overwhelming so he figured that the only thing to do is legalize all of them. Way to go Rove. You really screwed up this time.
