Kia Ora,Tonk
Please save me a berth and a place to stow my gear and sling my hammock, and show me the ropes when one day I join you on the Other Side.
Fair winds and following seas, my FRiend. Thankyou for your Service in the cause of Freedom, and for helping keep the Nation that you loved safe during times of war. You were a true Patriot and a fine American.
And thankyou also for your kindness and guidance when I was new to the Free Republic.
"...They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years contemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

...and one more thing, Tonk. Warriors deserve to be sent off properly. The words of the "Ka Mate" Haka are a celebration of Life over Death. This is appropriate and fitting, because the Free Republic celebrates your life, today. As is befitting and deserving of a mighty Warrior when he passes.
So here goes:
Ka mate, ka mate! Ka ora! ka ora!
Ka mate! Ka mate! Ka ora! Ka ora!
Tēnei te tangata pūhuruhuru
Nāna nei i tiki mai whakawhiti te rā
A upa ... ne! ka upa ... ne!
A upane kaupane whiti te ra!
HI!
Yours, Aye
In Warrior Spirit
