First reaction, “so what?”
Second reaction, “it’s the straight one, right?”
Third reaction, “I’d prefer no holdovers from the current administration. No continuation of Bush.”

She and husband Philip Perry have five children: three daughters, Kate (b. 1994), Elizabeth (b. 1997), and Grace (b. 2000); and two sons, Philip Richard (b. July 2, 2004) and Richard (b. July 11, 2006).

"I have to agree with you. There have been a few red flags lately.
I wonder if Fred is the real pick, and the strategy is to keep him out of the fray in the early stage.
I remember Rove saying that he thought the campaigning was starting too early this go round.
I sure hope this isn't some strategy.
It could be a reason to get this immigration reform through before Fred announces.
I like Fred, but stuff like this makes me wary. I am not accusing Fred, but I won't be blinded once again by the GOP."
And something about a military industrial complex, IIRC.
:O)

I heard something about her running for office in Wyoming (vacant senatorial seat?)Lynne Cheney, the wife, is the one being mentioned for Wyoming Sen. She is technically a resident of Wyoming. Her daughter, Liz, is a resident of VA or MD.
I think Liz does have political aspirations of her own but way, way into the future. I heard her interviewed and she said her plate is pretty full right now..lol...

I think maybe you misunderstand. I have come out as supporting Fred. You can check my posting history.
I am just being very careful this next time. I want to know who is behind our choices. Many people, including me, have had it thrown in their face that they voted for Bush twice, so If wedon’t like it we can just blame ourself.
Ya know, People can’t have it both ways. Primaries are not here yet, so at least, this time around, I am going to play with caution. I like Fred and Hunter as the candidates at this time.

I’m afraid you will one day be laughing on the other side of your face. Satan doesn’t want you to believe in him, either - for the same reasons.

Oh please. This kind of deep dark conspiracy thinking is just too MUCH. Fred has critisized the president in more than one area- the immigration bill being the latest.
Fred is not the “pick” of the GOP/RNC- in fact- I’d say just the opposite. Well- unless you include Ron Paul and the ULTIMATE outsider...

Fred is not the pick of the GOP/RNC- in fact- Id say just the opposite.Judging from the unhappy GOP apparatchiks I've seen on the tube, I'd agree.
