If you are in THE Los Angeles which is in the state of California
that is still obstenibly part of the nation recognized at the UN
as "The United States of America"....

you've made a naive presumption.

Don't take that personally.
I lived in West Los Angeles (on Mayfield, north of Wilshire)
during 1995-2005.
I spent plenty of time at the "BookZone" at UCLA, riding the
BigBlueBus to Santa Monica, plus two jury terms, one in Santa Monica
and one in downtown LA (via the Big Blue Bus #10) to the same
courthouse that Phil Spector is spending his days in to get his
"celebrity justice".

It took me awhile to realize I was living in the northern suburbs
of Mexico City.

There is a reason the "comprehensive immigration reform" bill
has earned
KEYWORD: VAMPIREBILL

It's a bill designed to such blood (hard-earned money) from legal
US residents to pay for the goodtimes of the illegal immigrants.
And it's being pushed by the worse-than-used-car-salesmen of
The United States Senate and The White House to boot.
So much is at stake, the bloodsuckers in the Senate AND The White House
will keep bringing up the bill until it passes...
or their terms expires and/or we VOTE THEIR LAME A$$E$ out of office!!!

Bush is point man for the globalists. They not only will bring this bill back, they must do so; they have no other course of action. They must win this battle. The bill will effectively erase our borders. The globalists cannot move their agenda forward until this is done. They have never lost a must win battle.

Remember how the Borg relentlessly pursued their mission, no matter what? That's what we're up against. Asking a globalist to not erase borders is like asking a tiger to stop eating meat. It's not going to happen. Tigers eat meat and globalists erase borders. If I remember correctly, the Federation did finally defeat the Borg, but only after a gargantuan effort.
