Well I guess you may want to refrain from commenting on those 'frigging' stories.

It appears that this young "man" was at a party with his 5 thug buddies. They all had sexual intercourse with an unconscious/semi-conscious 17 yr old, they then received oral sex from a 15 yr old. The 17 yr old woke up naked, on the floor at 3 am, called her mother who took her to the hospital and authorities. His "friends", all convicted felons, pled guilty to sentences ranging from 3-6 years. Wilson went to trial.

He was acquitted of raping the semi-conscious 17 yr old but convicted of the charge that netted him the sentence.

......well I knew that....but go up to post #2 and look at all the posts....you’ll see a majority of FReepers thought the sentence was too severe.....even the prosecutor said he thought the sentence was too harsh....and I’m sure HE knows more about the case then YOU....and I comment on what I’ve already heard....if I am wrong on facts simply point them out and I’ll check it out.....but no one can fact check every single fact....so please, by all means, see what other posters thought.....and why did the prosecutor say it was too harsh?......I’m curious since you know the story.

There are problems with your telling of the story.

Didn’t these guys tape this sorid episode? If so, I would think the tape would have been proof they raped the 17 year old girl. Why did the jury find the rape not credible? There is very little discussion on why the rape was thrown out. Is it possible that the 17 year old consent, but realized she would be in trouble if she came home at 3 am. Did she make the story up to get out trouble in her own house?

I’m sure the convicted felons realized they would get a harsher punishment if found guilty at trial so they copped a plea. Did the other 4 really believe they were guilty or did they want to avoid long jail terms? We will never know. Usually the one who squeals first and provides states evidence serves a shorter sentence.

Lots of unanswered questions based on this story. Would need to see the evidence from the trial and I want to know why the jury threw out the rape charge.
