SOFIA, Bulgaria - President Bush, turning from adulation in the Balkans to difficulties back home, said Monday that his stalled immigration overhaul would be revived and his embattled attorney general would not fall under a Senate vote of no-confidence. ADVERTISEMENT
"I'll see you at the bill signing," Bush said confidently about an immigration bill that has run into deep trouble on Capitol Hill.

2) NEW legislation to ELIMINATE ANCHOR-BABY scam. (No foreign National parent IN THE U.S. gets automatic citizenship for their offspring while in this country)
Ron Paul will introduce exactly that legislation this week.
When you call your congresscritter to oppose Bush's zamnesty, tell them to co-sponsor Paul's bill!

This really demonstrates the power of the “wage depression lobby” and how far they have their hooks into our elitist politicians who amount to nothing but whores for money themselves.
Where was all this zeal from the administration on spending control, SS reform, etc?

Our President is not leaving me much to be proud of, about him.
Sad.

I just don't get it, George.
I'm beginning to believe that the tinfoil hat/black helicopter crowd may be on to something -- maybe the Masons/Illuminati/Trilateral Commission/Bilderbergers/12-foot reptilian shape-shifters/etc. actually do run the world, and GWB is their puppet. A conservative (or even an honest Democrat for that matter ... if there are any left) would never support a bill that would not only destroy the Republican Party, but turn America into a 3rd world banana republic.
Something's got to give ...

Is this the Presidents way of giving his base the finger?
No, it's inserting the finger with the hand to follow. He's the Proctology President.

Oh, yeah, we HAVE A SAYTo hell with a SAY, I want a vote on this. And, not in a round about way, like voting against the Senators who are for it.
Let the American people vote on THIS bill...period.

He wants an independent Aztlan just as much as he wants the independent Kosovo. Sorry Jorge but not on our watch. The sooner he fades into obscurity the better imo.
To: George W. Bush
There's NO WAY that this legislation can pass; business interests depend on low-wage employees (the illegals), and their donations to BOTH political parties assure they will be favored over the American peoples' wishes.
Sadly, Congress only votes in the businesses' interests....NOT with the people.....

You know that is an absolutely great comparison!!!
“They won’t remember that you were President of the United States, they’ll remember you as the President that excused illegal behavior, and guaranteed the downward spiral of this countries soverienty and economy.”
Kind of a play off the script...

attaboy, W! Time to play HARDBALL against those lame conservatives!
(Isn’t it great that when GWB shows real spine, it is against us?)

People in DC might think about standing at the top of the Hill on Independence Avenue with signs awaiting his arrival tomorrow morning. He must be living in a bubble where he has no idea how strongly people feel about this, or worse, he just doesn’t care. Whatever the case, he needs some eye-openers.

If he had just sat quietly and let the thing die a well-deserved death, I might eventually have come around to forgive him for bringing it up in the first place.
When he goes begging to Harry Reid to resurrect the thing though, all respect is lost.

On this, I’ll back Paul 100%. That is a great bill, and I hope Tancredo and Hunter will both jump onboard as co-sponsors.

He might be right. He is right to have faith in the ability of the US Congress to nearly always do the wrong thing.
