SOFIA, Bulgaria - President Bush, turning from adulation in the Balkans to difficulties back home, said Monday that his stalled immigration overhaul would be revived and his embattled attorney general would not fall under a Senate vote of no-confidence. ADVERTISEMENT

"I'll see you at the bill signing," Bush said confidently about an immigration bill that has run into deep trouble on Capitol Hill.

Mr. President, IF IT DOES suvive, the GOP and the country will NOT.

Bush would consider that the Trifecta.

Awfully utilitarian screen name you have there.

No, another week like this one and you'll want to keep that screen name.

Or you could just trade with me. LOL.

I am such a law & order kind of person, never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would consider this....

...but why should anyone follow the rule of law if this bill passes?

They break the law....they get all the benefits of a US citizen, all the freebies, all the excuses, all the passes....everything.....the whole enchilada!

We need to let Paris out of jail!
And especially free Ramos & the other 2 or 3 border patrol agents...
...and of course, give amnesty to Scooty Libby...

Why arrest anyone?....we're giving millions of people passes.....including illegals who commit felonies....

...GOOD MERCY....what is happening to us?

I think I have found the alternate universe and it's an insane asylum!

Once the Senators had a weekend at home to see how much the “locals” opposed this, it was totally dead. This weekend at home buried it.

There is a much bigger lesson here. For the first time since Prohibition, the People have agreed (and forced the legislators to see) that no law can be passed or supported without public support.

Bottom line here? Washington and its laws are NOT the answer. Just as some new anti-gun law will not stop a armed robber, no immigration ‘reform” is going to cause Americans to abandon their borders.

Notice how in your face he is. He doesn’t acknowledge his base’s opposition; he doesn’t suggest the bill be changed in any way; he doesn’t even mention it might need ‘tweaking’. He just wants his bill, the way it is, and the conservative base be damned.

Our country is being sold out lock, stock and barrel. From the no borders, NAU to the L.O.S.T.

Any change of heart now?

Well, the Bush clan is proud to trace their lineage back to the British royal family.

To King John, among others. Capitulation to the barons seems to run in the blood. But this time, instead of Magna Carta it's a suicide pact.

That’s why I said “ON THIS, I’ll back Paul 100%.” I don’t back him on his foreign policy, I think it’s somewhere between naive and suicidal. I do agree with him on repealing the anchor baby provisions.

You say that President Bush has killed the base that supported him. Is not that just a little bit self important? I am the base, and I am not dead. A lot of you Bush bashers need to realize the world is much larger than yourselves.

“The majority of Americans are opposed to amnesty for illegal border invaders!”

Yeah, Bush, how hard is that to understand?

“Mr. President, for the love of God, let this evil thing go!”

Hence the listing under
KEYWORD: VAMPIREBILL
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/keyword?k=vampirebill

It’s a Vampire, Blood-Sucking Bill for legal US residents
and taxpayers.
Pushed by a lot of Used-Car Salesmen in the Senate, House
and THE White House.

(said with apologies to the ethical used-car salesmen I’ve
met in the past)

Maybe so, but Lindsay Graham will be dethroned.
