How is it “media grandstanding” by the Judge when there have been absolutely no pictures in the courtroom, no pictures of Paris in the courtroom or media interviews of, by, or from the Judge? I see NO evidence to support a charge of “media grandstanding” other than the comments of a few media persons. Seems to me this Judge had enough of Hilton’s spoiled histrionics and defiance of previous rulings and gave her exactly what she needs...other than a good paddling.
With regard to the high Sheriff, I don’t have enough information about him or the relationship between he and the Judge, but it appears the Sheriff also (like Hilton) defied the Judge’s specific orders (written twice)that she not be given house confinement. If there are problems resulting from the Sheriff’s disregard of the Judge’s specific ruling, then they are of the Sheriff’s own making.
