First off, if it had been a rich black girl, sure, she would have. <
The pretty young singer above is a perfect case in point:
That's true, and I think the sheriff that claimed she got more than others would have should be made to go on tv and admit he lied about that. He's the media whore, not the judge whom we've never seen give a presser. The judge should write up a breakdown of each of her offenses and the sentence given for each violation. That way people can see that she was not given more than what is proper.
They are still trying t odetermine the facts in Brandy’s case, aren’t they? Weren’t there several cars involved and perhaps more than one person to blame?
Brandy has at least two, maybe three, lawsuits against her. Believe she counter-sued one of them, alleging it was someone else’s fault.
Just did a quick check. Looks like they are looking for a malfunction of her landrover. Doubt they will find one. They did say though that it was an accident and NO drugs or alcohol were involved. That right there is probably why she isn’t sitting jail.
Is this why she isn’t on America’s Got Talent this year?
Thanks for the reminder about lawsuits.
“Always tell everyone what they want to hear. Then do what you want,” is the advice Paris Hilton offers wannabe heiresses in the first chapter of her best-selling book, “Confessions of an Heiress.”
But does the ubiquitous party girl follow her own advice even while under oath?
Hilton, who was hit with a $10 million slander and libel suit by actress Zeta Graff this summer, is now accused of repeatedly perjuring herself during a Nov. 9 civil deposition in that case.
“The evidence has shown that, in an obvious attempt to mask her own liability and reduce her overall exposure in this case, Hilton lied under oath at her deposition time and time again,” according to new court documents filed Tuesday by attorneys for Graff.

The above hasn’t been resolved yet.
There was also a suit against her music label last year. I don’t know if that has been resolved yet, either.
That’s horrible. At the rate Hilton is going, it could be her. Some of us take this seriously. Laws are to protect the public. They can’t be ignored by anyone.
Because the talking heads are being sympathetic, some believe that her sentence is “disproportionate” to others. Fine. Name others that have done the same thing and tell us their sentence. The law states differently. And thank you for finding it.
I earnestly hope and pray so. Does she have Christians in her immediate family?
My grandmother’s sister went to Hope ND around the turn of the century and supposedly married a Hilton. I’ve been looking for information about her.
And Martha Stewart is one smart cookie. Paris—well, Paris is Paris. I don’t know how many brain cells she has left.
Yeah, they were pretty brutal but maybe she needs a reality check.
And that’s very sad, isn’t it? She has everything anyone could ever want (on the outside).
My son is a corrections officer. Fortunately he’s been pretty safe there. But there’s always things to worry about if you dwell on it.
How sad for you, all of you.
Except by the Clintons. Nothing sticks to the teflon two.
My comment excluded criminal enterprises. ;)
I remember hearing that Paris’ lawyer got the libel suit pushed back due to her distress over the current issues. That night and the nights following, she was out partying. I don’t know when the next court date is but the media will no doubt be following it very carefully this time.
I do not believe she has “hit bottom”. Nor do I believe she ever will. People rarely change and someone in her position, shielded from life itself, will go on from one photo op to another.
OTAY!
