No problem. 85% of this site is full of knee-jerk statists.
They do not comprehend that foreign intervention is a left-wing concept.
wouldn’t worry about it too much, the lefties Trojan Horse contributions will dry up once they figure out no one is buying their scam.
The closest thing to J. G. Wentworth in the whole danged Congress.
They wanted evidence of 'real' support? $5 million in 60 days is 'real' support no matter how you look at it. I think a lot of the party faithful are going to be suprised. Especially as Rep. Paul is going to be in this race longer than they wanted him to be. He will be on the stage in September as the Republicans begin their backpedaling from support of the war after the next report comes in that the surge didn't work (although personally I'm wondering just how many reports from Iraq have to be done before they'll believe it's not working)
Course I guess next they'll tell us that the $5 million came from just a few poll spammers too....
Sadly, most freepers prefer a hard leftist as long as they “stay the course”.
I bet many of them would support Lieberman.
I disagree I heard what i heard and so did alot of Americans out there
Good grief dude. Read some history for a change. You are spouting rubbish.
No i am not ignoring you I heard what he said and he blamed America everything else is spin
You have a hard leftist in R. Paul.
There won’t be limited gov., no constitution etc. when the enemy wins.
OK, History:
Modern global interventionism stems from Woodrow Wilson, especially the democracy-spreading kind.
The Prior to 2001, the Right almost opposed every major foreign intervention, from WWI, to WWII, to Korea, and somewhat Vietnam (Nixon vowed to pull troops out of Vietnam during the election), but not the Gulf War. Probably supported the Gulf War because we were in office.
No there is a reason, at least a partial one that has been forwarded. One that does have credence to it. A lot of Rep. Paul's supporters are Gen X or younger. And fewer and fewer of them have land lines. I can count on one hand the number of friends I have that still have land lines. I myself finally bit the bullet and disconnected mine about three weeks ago simply for the cost. Pollsters don't call cell phones. They call people that sit home watching Law and Order.
It can only benefit the political discourse to have Ron Paul participate in the discussion. He sure polls well among freepers. Heh, heh. Republican elites have silenced him long enough. It’s sad the number of Republicans, acting like liberals, wanting to shut him out of the debates. What are they afraid of? He’s got more conservative bona fides than nearlydeadFred, to say the least.
Then explain WTF Ron Paul was doing when he fed into marxist/islamist conspiracy theories about 911 on more than one occasion. He’s a stupid as a box of rocks to boot. His nonsense about Iraq being an undeclared war and that we have not done such in the past is the height of historical ignorance.
And once again, I see a total dodge of responsibility. The Middle East was f***ked as soon as it enshrined Mohammadanism into its societies. That, and not the US, is the source of hatred. Dr. Demento needs to stop subscribing to the Kookcinich and Cynthia McKinney school of foreign policy.
Oh, and if you’re gonna insult, learn how to spell “n-u-m-B-s-k-u-l-l”, numbnuts. ;-)
If you like Conservatives, why are you supporting a leftist moonbat ?
I think he is the only electable republican.
And to go hide in a cave in Montana. Sorry, Paulie. 19th century isolationism doesn’t work no mo.
The (new) GOP = the police state and the Dems = the nanny state. Pretty sad state of both parties and America.
