Bush has a handful of real accomplishments, and a Rio Grande full of mistakes and failures that he refused to learn from.
Yes, Bush has been weak on this issue.
But his supporters have not blindly followed him on this and have demanded that their representives reject the bill.
Thus, I do not see any reason to make uncalled for attacks on Bush supporters.
We have supported him when we thought he was right and resisted him when he we thought he was wrong.
As if Brownback’s campaign wasn’t dead enough already. That clown needs to be dumped out of the race on his empty head before he can stink up another debate.
It would be “nice” if the current immigration laws were actually enforced before making new laws, assuming the laws mean anything.
This anger towards the people sponsoring and voting in favor of this bill will never subside, at least on my part. If somehow the Republicans should nominate McCain this time, by God I will not vote for him. Previous to this, I always said - and I said it here - I would vote for whomever they nominated, but no more. And I think we should noise this around A LOT just so there is no misunderstanding over at the RNC and other high places. No F’in way.
