Senate OKs amnesty for deportees
The Washington Times ^ | June 7, 2007 | Stephen Dinan

The Senate voted yesterday to grant amnesty to hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens who have already been caught and ordered deported but are defying a court order, preserving their path to citizenship as part of the immigration bill. Another showdown is scheduled for this morning on Democrats' effort to cut off the debate and force a final vote on the bill. Republicans have vowed to block that through a filibuster unless they are given assurances they can offer enough amendments before the final vote. The small bipartisan group of senators that had crafted the bill behind closed doors and fended off any major changes suffered a big loss early this morning when the Senate passed an amendment to end part of the temporary worker program after five years -- an amendment those who wrote the agreement said "kills the bill." Yesterday's major fight was over part of the bill that wipes out the immigration charges against illegal aliens who have already faced a judge and been ordered deported, known as alien absconders, and over part of the bill that applies to aliens who have already been deported but sneaked back into the country again. Sen John Cornyn offered an amendment to prevent those aliens from gaining legal status, arguing they have already shown disrespect for the law and should be sent home. "We are going to continue to be viewed as non-serious about workability, about enforcement, about restoring respect for the rule of law, unless we vote to exclude those who show nothing but defiance for our laws," the Texas Republican said.

I think the effort is wasted.

They are blind, deaf, dumb, fat and happy - at our expense.

We should be concentrating on the House.

If that doesn’t work, and Bush signs this thing, people should get signatures on a petition for impeachment against all those politicians down there who voted for this abortion.

They should be removed from office - all of them - in the next primary or general election. Then this issue should be revisted and the law rescinded.

These weasels still don’t get it.

They still think we are so stupid and forgetful they will be able to get away unscathed in future elections. I hope the American voters prove these elected public enemies wrong.

I hate that sonofavitch voinabitch. He visited my work once and I demanded that the carpets be cleaned afterward.

It looks like the ‘08 election will be another RINO purge.
:::::
Let us hope and pray that includes the White House and we have a conservative sitting behind that desk in the Oval Office — and not a Marxist socialist.

OK, just how does voting for a Democrat fix anything? I swear, some of you people are so interested in punishing the RINO’s that you don’t care who you let assume their position.

Here’s a thought: How about pre-emptive amnesty for those who haven’t yet entered the country illegally, but might someday, either before or after the bill’s passed. There’s always the chance that, under those tough provisions of the Amnesty Act, they could be ordered deported someday. A vote is a vote.

I don’t advocate voting Democrat or Republican. Vote anti-incumbent. Period. Do it for a few election cycles, and they might start paying attention to us instead of the lobbyists.

Only one conclusion is possible. The current democrat-dominated congress is trying to bring about the fall of the American republic.

No, it’s BUSH pushing this garbage.

The position of President tops our representatives.

This is BUSH’S doing ... .

Won’t the anti-incumbent sometimes be a Democrat? Remember what I have already said about being so obsessed with punishing someone? You forget (or don’t care) that the replacement could be much worse. I fail to see a shred of logic in what you are advocating.

Yes, the anti-incumbent would sometime be a Dem. But in 2 or 4 years it would be a Republican. And then a Dem. And so on, until they are called to heel. I’m not talking about punishing one Party or the other, I’m talking about punishing Congress. Kicking those creeps out of the royal class is the worst thing you can do to them. Now, if you want Republicans in office, no matter what they’re up to, than have at it.

They will easily figure out the anti-incumbent trend, which will eliminate any effort to get reelected. They can pretty much do what they want because, according to you, they are out at the end of their term, regardless of performance.

My point is, before you go kicking people out of office, make sure you understand what they could be replaced with. Potted meat tastes awful, until you compare it to dog crap.

The phone number to use is 800-417-7666, this is a number set up for illegals to use but we can use it free of charge, it will give you a pro-amnesty message but set through that and then press 1 for your senior senator or 2 for your junior senator and you will be connected if the line isn’t too busy.

I'll tell you what it fixes Racer, it throws their lying a**es out of office and tells the next republicans they had better be conservative if they want to be elected. I swear, you people who think that voting rinos into office time after time is going to solve anything just make me want to puke!
