That's what I was saying last night in the other thread. There are only 98 voting Senators right now, although there is only 1 vacancy, so they still need 60 votes to invoke cloture. If Johnson were to resign today due to health reasons, then they would only need 59 votes to invoke cloture.

Sen. Hutchison is up now talking about one of her amendments. Well maybe on cloture. Sen. Coburn wanted to change her amendment ... she objected. CSPAN2 live now.
