You mean high enough to finally make the aggressive processing of the Western US & Canada's uber-colossal oil sands economically viable?

They're getting the feeling that their part of the world has really done it now. The urge for a shift in energy types & sources is greater than ever.

As much as I hate government intervention, I would support a floor price for US produced petroleum from US shale oil production.

Guarantee that the bottom won’t drop out of the oil market so investors will be willing to take on long term investments to develop our resources.

Oil sands are already economically viable. That is why there is over 1 MMBPD flowing from the Alberta oil sands and dozens of projects underway to expand. Alberta Oil Sands
