Me think it brilliant. He is above the fray. HE isn't spending like mad and attacking and defending. He isn't showing a haggard frenzy of justification. He isn't screaming from a pulpit. HE has a very respectable approach thus far. AND he is getting an awful lot of free campaign from the PEOPLE in concert with the media. He is shaping up to actually be an exciting story for the media. "The Fred Thompon Race Shakeup" is a media dream, at least initially.
