At least they are decent enough to ask. Is that not OK? What does Nascar have to do with politics. Why don't they ask me my favorite color or if I like cheesecake? They also ask me if I consider myself an Evangelical Christian.

Nothing. I'm still not offended if they ask. If they want to make generalizations based on this demographic or that one, so be it. If some freak cheesecake fad were to sweep the nation and they frequently noticed thousands of people gathering around a cheesecake vendor, "Cheescake Dads" might become a factor they wish to measure.
