What President Bush is doing, and has been doing for some time, is sundering a great political coalition. Peggy’s article has got to leave a mark. She’s attractive, articulate, and totally against this bill. A lot of folks will listen to her and realize she’s speaking what they couldn’t quite bring themselves to say.
