B: Call your Senators and Congresscritter TODAY and give 'em hell. Our future depends on it.

C: As Mark Levin has pointed out, we need to regain control of the Republican PArty rather than leave it for a third way.

Don’t forget that the WOD is an integral part of border control issue. Lack of border control is a policy in favor of untaxed drug importation.

Unfortunately, I think it is going to get even worse. Bush has savaged the conservative coalition that has supported the war in Iraq against the Democrats attempts to enforce timetables and ensure defeat. The question of fighting foreign terrorists and defending foreign borders while not defending our own borders is getting louder.

Come September, the Administration may no longer have the strength to resist Reid and Pelosi.

Boy, if Peggy Noonan can say this, a lot of people in the White Hosue have some thinking to do.

I am still astonished that in the last two presidential elections, Bush seemed the better of the two given candidates. How bad was the other choice that an inept, tounge-tied goober like Dubbya looks like the better choice? And yes, I still believe that a president Gore or Kerry would be even worse. I for one am disgusted and have been for a long time, but I an wondering why and how we keep getting such arrogant inept elitists who seem to hold no greater vision than to their own personal ambition, personal dream (legalizing millions of his preferred “chosen people”), and monied cronies both on the right and left.
For me in particular Bush has lost what remained of his remaining respect because of the underhanded way this illegal immigration has been intentionally mishandled. Refusing to secure the border in any meaningful way even after 9/11, and the high profile prosecutions of the small force of border agents actually doing the job Bush refuses to do, and now his fingers all over the massive giveaway amnesty bill gives me a portrait of Bush as just another self-serving, corrupt monied elitist who's allegiance is only to those within HIS personal sphere of influence. Conservatism for Bush is just a useful tool to be twisted and corrupted as he pleases to serve his personal interests and nothing more. Yes, unlike Clinton he actually has core beliefs, but they are strictly personal - No theoretical underpinning needed.

President Bush every day does what he believes is the "right thing to do" not what the popular thing is to do. He is guided by his own princple, and by a Higher power. If President Bush believes this is the right thing for America, then I am with him. I would rather be on President Bush's side, the higher power side. It is not in the President's character to not act on his convictions, and well I like his spunk.

Look on my profile, I still stand with the President and uniting this country, and protecting it against all enemies. "One man with courage is a majority" Thomas Jefferson

President Bush is the same person of character that moved into the oval office in 2001, and he will be that same person when he leaves.

Another quote from John Page to Thomas Jefferson used in President Bush's inaugural speech: ``We know the race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong. Do you not think an angel rides in the whirlwind and directs this storm?''

Bush is reading the tea leaves and sticking a finger in the wind. He and his advisers have abandoned their supporters because we're just not profitable anymore. Apparently, they believe the global warming kooks and amnesty for illegals is the wave of the future.

I hate to break it to them.....but the left isn't going to love them. Ever.

"Battered wives" don't think, they just act out of spite even if it hurts the family more than it does the perceived batterer.

Your reasons for allegiance to Mr. Bush could, with a few name changes, be espoused by a follower of Bin Laden.

Why does Bush care who supports him? As a lame duck, he no longer needs to court the support of the people. He needs no one excpet the attorney general now.

Were he so inclined, he can now be a little dictator and by the time anyone could do anything about it, he is living off his pension and the payoffs through his brother’s Mexican businesses, wheree he can insult the people who put him in office.

Papa and Mama Bush must be so proud!

Something to get you on track to real solutions.

Then the Lord said, “Oh, the problems of life; how man has perplexed himself with trying to solve the mysteries of life for all these years without any success. Is it possible to solve the problems of the natural when the secret solution can only be found in the spiritual? Is not the natural/carnal mind only a habitation for death? So how can that which is death possibly solve the problems of life? Can that which is natural discover the secrets of that which is spiritual? Is it even possible for the natural to comprehend the solution to this mystery when the natural does not even understand what life consists of? Does death have any agreement or communion with life? O, the mysteries of life, who can find it out? How great is the darkness that has kept natural mind blind and ignorant to the life that God created man to be partakers of? The light of life has shined in into the darkness, but the darkness has not been able to comprehend it.

Ephesians 4:17-18 “This I say therefore and testify in the Lord that you henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them because of the blindness of their heart”.

John 1:5 “And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not”.

The natural mind is the matrix for death and trouble while the spiritual mind is the matrix for life and peace. That which is natural is natural and that which is spiritual is of the Spirit. When it comes to solving the problems of life, the natural mind is found to be full of all manner of limitations, boundaries, and walls because all of its wisdom, knowledge, and understanding is of this world; and it is impossible for that which is of this world to comprehend any of the things of God. How can the natural mind think on anything outside of the box when that which dwells outside of the box is spiritual? The natural mind is only able to interpret life to be that which is pleasing to the natural senses; such as the sense of peace that a man feels when thinks that he is healthy; or that sense of security that he feels when he believes that he is in control over the matters of his life; or that sense of satisfaction that he experiences over his own accomplishments and deeds; or that sense of enjoyment that he feels when everything go his own way; or that sense of delight that he feels when his earthy wealth is increased; or that sense of contentment he feels after he has satisfied a burning desire; or that sense of comfort that he feels when believes that he is worthy enough to enter into heaven; or that sense of exaltation that he feels when he is praised and glorified by others; or sense of power that he feels when he is able to do his own will. But all of these things are only the illusions of life; illusions that are birthed out of the matrix of the carnal mind to satisfy the senses of the natural man; the illusions of lies that deceive man into believing that life consists of only those things that please and satisfy the being of “Self”.

Never give up the battle; never let your mind settle for the natural; for by reason of the natural many will make me into an image of a weak God who does not care for them, nor for his people; thus making me powerless to solve any of the problems of life for them. Never, never, never limit yourself to believe that I am like unto the image that your present knowledge has of me; for you greatly limit me when you value, and esteem, and believe, and hold on to your natural understanding of me! I desire to give to you a new mind; to make your mind to be as the Garden of Eden. For it was in the garden that Adam and I walked together in communion, and friendship, and love; but for the moment, the battle wages in your mind for your affection. The natural loves the lies about me, while the spiritual loves the truth about me. Your flesh cannot limit me from bringing you into my garden, but your mind can; for the natural cannot believe the impossible things that I so desire to perform for you. But do you desire a new mind that will allow for me to do those things which are impossible for you? Do you desire my friendship and my love? Let me remove the separation. Let me remove the walls, and the boundaries, and the limitations of the natural. Let us walk together. Am I not able to bring you into my garden so that we may walk together? Do not be distracted by the natural, but keep your focus only on me.

Mitt Jeffords

I said I would support them if they went for impeachment of Bush because of his refusal to secure our borders and enforce the laws on the books.

Even though Dems SUPPORT open borders themselves and a disturbing number of Americans don't give a damn?! The very idea (which keeps popping up on FR) is absurd and shows a disconnect from reality. There won't ever be an impeachment over the border problem.

"Americans are generous and strong and decent, not because we believe in ourselves, but because we hold beliefs beyond ourselves. When this spirit of citizenship is missing, no government program can replace it. When this spirit is present, no wrong can stand against it. "

So God is for amnesty, and W is his prophet? Other than blind obedience to him beause he has “character,” what do you like about his second administration?
