Great find. How do you do it? Your research efforts out do us all!
I have no qualms, as a Catholic, considering all the angles, supporting Mormon Mitt Romney, a never divorced, faithful husband and traditional father of five over all other candidates, including, Fred "the playboy" Thompson, a bias ingrained in me by my devoutly Catholic and traditional father.

We don’t agree. Hunter simply does not have mass appeal, a fact his supporters do not want to face. As good a man as he may be, he is most unfortunately, unelectable.

When asked to describe the type of justices he would appoint to the federal bench if elected President, Romney responded: Governor Romney: "I think the justices that President Bush has appointed are exactly spot-on. I think Justice Roberts and Justice Alito are exactly the kind of justices America needs. Theyre people who believe that the Constitution is what theyre to follow, not what theyre to depart from; people who do not believe that legislation from the bench is the responsibility or authority of being on the bench. I respect legal scholars of all backgrounds, but those who are going to be on the bench, if I were lucky enough to appoint them, would be people who believe their job is to follow the law and follow the Constitution." (Romney on Judges: Follow Bush's Lead, RedState Blog, Feb. 2, 2007)I don't recall mentioning the judges on this thread (though I have on others), but Romney's choice for the Supreme Court would be no different than President Bush's or Fred Thompson's. Please see the above paragraph, from the homepage of Unmarked Package.

"I am scared to death of even the possibility of a RINO winning the election in 2008."Romney's running on a conservative platform and is NO RINO. Frankly, it is the possibilty of Guiliani, Hillary or Obama as president, that should be your greatest concern. The candidate you support, Hunter, will be unable to stop them. And deep down, I think you know it.

Indeed, Romney’s choices might be better. I certainly have no problem with that hypothesis.

"But he sure is smooooooth."I like smooth. My good Catholic father was smooth. As a Catholic woman, I trust an intelligent, articulate faithful never divorced husband and traditional father and family man before I'd trust, a man who spent 20 years of his life (from 40 to 60) womanizing until he married a woman at 60, 25 years his junior. But then that's me. : )

Many of the ladies like Duncan Hunter; in fact, Laura Ingraham and her guest, Kathleen Parker, commented on how Duncan Hunter was manly, like John Wayne.

Then you’ll like Duncan Hunter - a one-woman man.
My dad was rough, but extremely generous and good hearted - maybe it’s one of those father/daughter things. :)

Hunter is the man we conservatives have been waiting for, and he will bring the conservatives that stayed home in 2006 out in the General Election.
And deep in your heart, I think you know that.

I hope he comes out and says how many times he has failed the bar exam or at least come out and said he passed it the first time. I don’t care how many times he took it, but they are having Hillary stories out there saying she failed it at least once. You know they are going to do this to Fred so the best thing would just let it slip out in a conversation just like he did with his cancer diagnosis. Brilliant to control the story than have leaks. Hillary was dumb not to fess up about it earlier like during a Senate Campaign, but now it will be a story that continues for a while at least. Fred get all the ugly stories out now it will not hurt you only help you.

“Many here would vote for Hillary if she was pro-life.”
Hillary would no longer be Hillary if she was pro-life.
