If Rudy is elected, I believe he will nominate moderate judges that will be able to pass through the Democrat senate. He won't nominate RBG, because the people who voted for him will not be the RBG crowd, so he owes them no allegiance. Rudy's a politician first, not an idealogue.
This election will be about moderates. Can't be helped on this round. The Republicans have to develop a consersative bench at the governor level before they can contend. I like Haley Barbour, but he's not in. Someone needs to make a run at the Ca governorship in 2010, maybe that could be a jumping off point...

Rooty has no respect for the Constitution or the unborn. He believes in special rights for homos and promotes amnesty for illegals. Rooty`s record speaks for itself.
No thanks!

I'm afraid I would have to disagree with your assessment. Moderate judges appointed by Republicans have not done this country any good. Bush has managed to get two conservative judges through nomination.
I'm not sure the socialist party (DNC) can stomach a public fight over judges. The thing they hate most is a true ideological battle in the public. They have much more luck defeating people with personal attacks than with true debate.
